Staff Additions

Systemedic is pleased to announce two new employees in our medical bill review division. Kay Stevens, LPN, comes to us from Neurological Surgery Associates and she will be a bill review auditor for specific accounts. Georgia Wilkins, formerly a medical insurance coding specialist, will also serve specific accounts as a medical bill auditor.
 

Fall Forum

The AWCC held its Fall Forum conference in Hot Springs on September 4–5, with an attendance of approximately 200 comp professionals and exhibitors. Topics covered such issues as mediation, legal ethics, forms, case law updates, medical fee schedule, ADA/FMLA, Special Funds, and return-to-work.
