What Is Life Care Planning?
Life care plans
(LCP's) are carefully researched documents that project, with the best
professional judgment, the anticipated cost of medical care, equipment,
home care, rehabilitation, etc., of a child or adult over a specific
period of time.
LCP's are usually
requested prior to a court trial or during settlement negotiations,
frequently in liability claims. LCP's also are utilized in workers'
compensation and auto injury claims.
Systemedic's Life Care
Planning Services
In this specialized field, Systemedic offers an experienced,
professional team of life care planners. The most frequently referred
cases involve head injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, multiple
trauma and infants/children, where long-term expense projections are
needed.
Our LCP services are
available both in Arkansas and other states. Charges are on an hourly
basis, with the total cost depending on the complexity of the case and
specific areas of attention requested by the referring party.
